KUMC physical therapy students participate in Habitat for Humanity project
On a cold blustery day, 35 of our wonderful students gave up their Saturday to work on a house for Habitat for Humanity. We had such a large and hardworking crew that they actually split us up to work on two different houses. Our students blew in insulation, painted, hung windows, and put up siding. They were amazing, especially at running the saw and nail guns. The site managers commented that they never thought we could get so much done in one day. While there, the future owner of the house stopped by to thank the students.
Thanks to all of you who were there, making the world a little bit better place.
