Students in the post-professional DPT program have flexibility in the number of courses they may take each semester. Because the program is on-line, students are classified as in-state students (Kansas residents) regardless of location across the country. Some student fees may also apply.
KU Tuition: $270.50
+ online course fee: $65.00
--------------------------------------
$335.50 per credit hour
All tuition and fee amounts are provided here as a guide for prospective students only and do not constitute an official total cost to attend KU. Tuition for KU programs is established by the State of Kansas Board of Regents and fees by the University of Kansas. All figures are subject to change at any time.
Background Checks
Beginning Jan 1, 2004, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) initiated a requirement for all incoming students to pay for a background check. This one-time fee must be paid directly to the company performing the background investigation. You will be asked to provide information and make the payment once you have been officially accepted into the DPT program. For more information, please see the School of Allied Health Background Check Instructions.
First-year students will be charged an Anatomy Lab fee in their first semester. This one-time fee is currently $200.00 and is in lieu of the PTRS lab fees. This is reflected in the totals provided in the tuition and fees document.
Note: All calculations provided were made based on costs through the Spring 2009 semester and are provided for informational purposes only. They may not represent all costs associatedwith the program. Tuition and associated fees are determined by the Kansas State Board ofRegents. All costs are subject to change without notice.
